El Limon is one of the most spectacular waterfalls of Dominican Republic. It rises 900 feet above sea level, and cascades 150 feet into a deep pool of water. Located deep in the woods it is something of an adventure to reach. El Limon is off the paved road that connects town of Samana with Las Terrenas. There are about 13 paradas (points of entry) which organize hiking or back horse riding tours to the waterfall.
