Las Terrenas

Las Terrenas is rapidly growing town, built and run mostly by French expats became a new hotspot for foreigners as well as for people from the Capital. Since the new highway between Santo Domingo and Samana is done, people from the South come here every week.

The main part of Las Terrenas runs along beautiful beachfront. In the center of town the El Paseo Plaza stands while the pueblo of El Portillo lies to the east and lovely Playas Bonita and Coson lie to the west. The place is more tranquil at either end of town, yet the outskirts are still relatively close to Las Terrenas nightlife and restaurants.
